NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 9, 2004) – Averitt Air is proud to announce that it has promoted Bob Vollmuth to Director of Sales.

His new duties as Director of Sales will include the responsibilities of offering discounted fleet membership to preferred customers, aviation consulting services, and general promotion of Averitt Air’s services.

An Averitt Air associate since 2000, Vollmuth has held the positions of Jet Captain, Helicopter Captain, and Project Manager for quality, communications and automation. His experience prior to Averitt Air includes being a UH-60 helicopter pilot, a combat search and rescue instructor, and an aerospace physiology instructor.

Vollmuth holds an MBA in Aviation Business Administration and an undergraduate degree in Aviation Systems.
