Averitt Air Recipient of Honeywell International S.T.A.A.R. Award
Accolade Given Based on Performance Records for 2005

SPARTA, Tenn. (August 3, 2006) – Averitt Air is honored to receive the Service Target Authorization and Approval Rating (S.T.A.A.R.) from Honeywell International.

The S.T.A.A.R. Awards program was designed to measure the performance of Honeywell authorized service centers that conduct maintenance on engines and avionics systems. The program uses specific criteria to award points based on compliance with Honeywell's established procedures, productivity levels, and customer surveys that are taken once the service is completed.

Maintenance services performed by Averitt Air that were scored by Honeywell included electronics repair, navigation and autopilot equipment repair, software upgrades for GPS and service bulletins.

Neal Ropp, Averitt Air's aviation director, was more than pleased to accept the prestigious award.

"This represents an exceptional achievement for us to receive such an accolade," said Ropp. "Honeywell has more than 650 authorized avionics service centers and only 287 of those received the S.T.A.A.R. award for 2005."
