Averitt Air Expands Fleet and Services to Fill Chattanooga Market's Underserved Need for Air Charter Services

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (January 12, 2010) - Averitt Air is excited to offer aircraft charter and management services to the Chattanooga market, as well as northern Alabama and northern Georgia, including Atlanta.

Based at the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, Averitt Air operates a Learjet 31A jet that seats up to eight passengers and has fast cruise speeds yet also carries low operating costs per statute mile. The aircraft's maximum range is 1,393 statute miles, enabling non-stop flights to the top of Maine, the tip of Florida, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, all from Chattanooga.

Averitt Air's facility in Nashville, which is certified as a Bombardier Learjet* Authorized Service Facility (ASF), provides aircraft maintenance services as well as technical support for structures, pressurization, and navigation systems, including the installation of avionics packages.
